Hi, I’m Shaun, I came out later in life and I am the father of 4 children. In 2020 I co-founded Gay Fathers Worldwide, a private Facebook group where men can talk openly and safely. It is the essential support network tailored for predominately gay men who are navigating fatherhood following past heterosexual relationships. We are extremely proud of this resource and that it humbly began in Melbourne, Australia, but now unbelievably reaches men from all corners of the globe, hence the name. Our community embraces gay fathers from all walks of life creating a global circle of understanding and shared experiences.

Whether you're a gay father still in a marriage, grappling with uncertainties, recently separated and seeking support, or moving forward in your journey post-divorce, our group is here for you. We understand the unique challenges you may face, from the complexities of estranged relationships with children and grandchildren, to fostering new connections with partners and family. Our members include those who are out and proud, as well as those still finding their way in the journey of self-acceptance.
